If a medical marijuana cardholder uses medical cannabis while being treated with tricyclic antidepressants and notices a speedy heartbeat (tachycardia) or a spike in blood pressure (called hypertension when the spike endures), chances are a psychiatric drug interaction with cannabis has occurred.
