See a Medical Cannabis Doctor Online in San Francisco, California

San Francisco is another county & city that could be said to be more tolerant towards the cannabis industry in comparison to other counties. The vote on Prop. 64 was overwhelmingly “Yes” in San Francisco, with perhaps only Alameda showing more support. This has seen San Francisco become a major place in terms of where investors come from, as well as where innovators and producers look to set up shop.

All you need in order to speak to one of Leafwell’s physicians and to qualify for a medical marijuana identification card (MMIC) is the following:

  • An internet connection.
  • A valid email address.
  • A laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet with a working camera, microphone and speakers so you can see and hear the doctor and vice-versa.
  • Photographic ID (e.g. driver’s licence, passport).
  • Proof of California residency (e.g. utility bill, bank statement, rental/mortgage agreement).
  • Ideal but not necessary: medical notes/records detailing your condition.
  • We recommend getting both a recommendation and medical marijuana identification card (MMIC) – no MMIC means no money off the sales tax portion of the total cost of any cannabinoid-based products you buy.
